Name the Beasts
The poll set up by Skipper of the current species on this site reminded me that I should probably make a list of all playable Redwall Species and the inns and outs of what characters are going to require more intense bios. This is based on how many of the species we need, how good of an RPer you need to be to have one, and how many of the species we already have (and therefore don't need more of.) Here's a simple color code:
Freely open--in fact, this means we need more characters of these species. Please take on as many as you choose. This just means we don't mind having these critters around but we aren't looking to have a lot of them. Or, in the case of marine animals and swans it can also mean if you bother to create a bio for those species you probably deserve to get off easy. Here's where you should be putting quite a bit more into those bios if you want to get them accepted. Especially add a lot to history, really develop the characters. Again, we don't need many of these species. These are, in the case of wolverines, powerful creatures that could be easily abused by goshmodding. Or they're a species we have enough of and only want you making more if you feel you absolutely must. Or, third possible reason, they're exceptionally rare species and we don't want to see more than maybe one on the site, maybe too. We expect exceptional bios for these species and we would appreciate if you had been with the site for at least a week before making them so we know if you're a good candidate for these species. Restricted. In the case of the Marlfoxes, the Marlfoxes were supposedly wiped out. So if for some reason there's still one walking around you'd better provide a dang good history for them. And currently, in some cases, we just have too many of them compared to other species. So to help limit the number we're going to be requiring ultra special bios for them as well until we get more of a few other species.
Also, next to each species in the list are *'s. They are actually links to bios for the current characters of that species. I'll try to keep this list up-to-date, but no promises...feel free to yell at me every now and again if you feel I'm being too sluggish. If it gets to be too much of a hassle though, I'll just remove the links. They're not exactly necessary, just nice to have. ----------------------

If I have missed any species, please inform me. Also if I’ve messed up with any of the links or anything. And also, you can RP other species that are not listed but you should ask a staff member first. Preferably Griffith, since he’s the main authority here.

- No Advertising in the cbox unless you're a member and it is in your name.

- No spamming because that is not what the box is for. It is for members to talk, inform each other and to get to know each other. No impersonating others as well.
